As a National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) diplomate, Moses is a board-certified acupuncturist and Registered Professional Nurse with combined 20 years’ experience in pain management, internal disorders and holistic wellness. His education includes Classical Acupuncture under Jeffrey C. Yuen at the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences since 1999.

I felt a little nervous going in to this appointment, but Moses was patient, asked several questions, read my MRI report, evaluated me and worked on my pain areas to give me relief AND better range of motion... and that was just my FIRST appointment. I can't wait to go back. I've been seeing Moses regularly for just over a month now, and I cannot believe how much better I feel!! Even after the very first visit, I felt better than I had felt in years. I've done so much PT and so many trigger point injections and seen tons of doctors, but nothing helped me half as much as Moses has. Plus he's super nice and fun to talk to. HIGHLY recommended!!

I just had my first acupuncture visit with Moses and I must say I was very impressed. I’ve had acupuncture before with others, but this was a much better experience. Moses took time to get to know me, he spent a lot of time really working on my problem areas, and I could tell he really wanted to help me feel better. I will definitely be back for follow up visits and I’m praying to get the same great relief so many of his other patients have experienced.

I went in for the first time yesterday and it went very well as I expected. Moses has already helped my wife and daughter quite a bit. It is warm inside while you are there to help keep muscles relaxed. He explains things very well so that you gain an understanding of what's happening. No complaints here, will return.

If you are on the fence about trying acupuncture. Rest easy and know that Moses Alvarez is an absolute healer!I've wanted to try acupuncture for years after never finding any relief from traditional medicine.After my first treatmemt I felt imidiate relief physically and emotionally. I plan on going back as many times as it takes to heal my whole body.To heal the whole body each problem area needs to be addressed. Moses pointed out past injurys I had that were affecting other areas that I didnt even know.Pain is dehabilitating and no one should have to live with it or rely on pain meds. Traditional doctors have failed to help me, and all they've done is try to medicate me. This is after 3 er visits, 3 ekgs, 2 catscans, 3 mris, every blood test available, and 4 specialists. I highly recommend Lycoming Orthopedic and Sports Acupuncture. I had paralysis/Bell’s Palsy on my face following a sars-cov-2 infection. I had never tried acupuncture before, but had an open mind. Moses explained everything well, constantly checked my comfort levels, and was very accommodating, even extending his office hours to treat me. 12 days from the start of BP, I feel as if I am 80% recovered, my doctor told me 2-6 months! Moses gave me my smile back! Don’t hesitate, it works!

We sought acupuncture therapy out of desperation, knowing very little about it. I am pleased to report that in the capable hands of Moses Alvarez, my husband has received significant pain relief as well as improvement in some of the symptoms he experiences from Parkinson's Disease. So far, over time, the relief diminishes and a "tune up" (my term, not Moses') is necessary, but results are lasting longer after each treatment.Moses is very personable, professional and giving of his time to answer every question and to explain what he is doing and why. 3 1/2 months prior I had shoulder surgery. Since surgery I had pain in my tricep and deltoid when I slept. For 3 1/2 months I was sleep deprived. Rarely more than 4 hours of broken sleep a night.Never having acupuncture before, I tried Moses.It was amazing! Since my first treatment the pain is gone in my tricep / deltoid and I have been sleeping soundly!Truly an experience that changed my well being and life!

I personally was a skeptic, but I kept doing my own research, and figured that acupuncture has been around for centuries. So it must work a little?!? I personally survived a vehicle accident that has done major damage to my body. Finding Moses and swallowing my fear of the unknown was the best decision that ever happened to me. Do to Mose's knowledge, caring nature, he is the reason why I can walk and move around with less pain. Now; my son's, fiancé, and almost a whole wrestling/football team visits Moses... thank you sir for helping all of us.

Moses was recommended to me by a friend for my back pain that I’ve had since being in the Military and now an Emergency room nurse. I made the decision to try acupuncture about 2 months ago. I can honestly say it has been the best decision I’ve made. After the initial appointment I was 60% decreased in pain. After my second appointment even more. I have been able to move so much better and have next to no pain. When going to appointments Moses makes it a point to hit any tension spots or trouble areas and relieve the pain. 10/10 recommend trying acupuncture.

I was a big Skeptic of acupuncture. But my wife talked me into going for a treatment. I have had a lot of pain in my back and shoulders because of the business I am in. I have usually been treating my pain with massages. But now that I have had my first experience with acupuncture, I think I have found what will work for me! Moses took the time to talk with me and understand what my issues were, so he was able to target my problem areas and really give me some relief. He was very professional and thorough in explaining the process and what he planned to do. I highly recommend him!!!!

I had recently pulled a muscle in my back during an exercise class. I had tried everything to relieve the pain. Then someone told me about acupuncture. I had heard that it can be very helpful with many different issues people have with their health. So I made an appointment and went to see Moses. He was caring and very professional. He took the time to listen to me. And he built a treatment plan around my issues. After just one treatment I was feeling great. I was so amazed at how well it worked that I have been back to see him again when other issues came up. I highly recommend him!!!
